1952 - 2019

Elmo “Butch” Nelson Jr. age 66 was with his loving wife Sharon when he was called home on Friday, March 1, 2019, in Shawano, WI. Born December 11, 1952 in Shawano, WI to the late Elmo and Bernice (Bussian) Nelson. Elmo was a life long resident of Shawano, He worked at the Little Rapids Paper Mill for 20 plus years until he retired from factory work and went into co-owning “Sharona’s Bar” with his beloved wife Sharon. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and playing on his computer.

Elmo is survived by his soul mate Sharon Nelson, his children William Nelson Sr., Tracy Nelson, Paul Reinert and Elizabeth Reinert all of Shawano, his sister Darleen Buboltz, Grandchildren Leaf, James, Raven, William, Ashton and Ryan and a Great Grandson Max. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his computer.
Elmo is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Cheryl Patzer.

Service will be held at St. James Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Public viewing from 11-1 with a service to begin at 1, with a lunch to follow. Join us for a continued celebration of his life at Sharona’s in the evening.
