In Memory Of
Gregory Dean Evrard
1959 - 2018

Our world will miss the sparkle of Gregory Dean Evrard. His creativity seemed boundless and his sweet soul made friends of us all. He passed away on December 11, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on September 18, 1959 and was welcomed into the loving family of Corneilius (Neil) and Doris Evrard and his sister Debbie ( Dave ) Lasley.
He grew up in Oconto WI.

Gregory was a hair stylist and award winning makeup designer starting his career as an apprentice at Bananas Hair Design Studio in 1980.He worked at Pannache and most recently at Salon Fifty Four. He was more than talented, he was inspiring and so much fun to be with. He was the hero hairdresser to all of the designers he work with and to his beloved clients.

His creativity extended to many other areas. He collected paintings, prints, posters, sculpture, albums and cobalt glass. He would often find them at second hand stores, rummage sales or even on the street. His unique eye resulted in an incredible collection which he is donating to friends, Heritage Hill, the Neville Museum and ARCW. He had a beautiful singing voice and at one time sang with the Gay Men’s choir in both Green Bay and Philadelphia where he lived for 10 years. Gregory loved to travel with New York City being the “Big Apple” of his eye.

Gregory was also active in the community sharing his time and talents with Encompass Childcare’s Oktoberfest and creating fantastical bras for the Bras on the Bay fundraiser for breast cancer.

He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors are his mother, Doris and sister , brother-in-law, nieces Tracy and Trista and great nephew and great niece Noah and Allison. His special friends include Joseph and Ann Delwiche, Shawn Cunningham, Rhonda Sidniko, Bradley Lemerond and Marshall Simon as well as countless others.

Gregory requested that the October celebration of his life serve as his memorial. He wished to be there alive and in the moment surrounded by the love of his family and friends. In his life
adventures he collected many teddy bears that he shared with all who attended to serve as a reminder of him.

A special thank you to the staff of Unity Hospice who supported him and his loved ones.
