Faye E. Wood, 81, of Green Bay, beloved wife of Harland "Woody" Wood, departed this life on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Bellin Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.

Faye was born February 27, 1937 in Green Bay; daughter of the late William and Vernelda "Nellie" (Thirion) Francois. She was a graduate of Green Bay East class of 1955. On January 7, 1956 she married Woody and they spent 62 loving years of marriage together. She enjoyed machine knitting in her earlier years and even published a magazine with her mother. She also loved researching geneology and traced her husband's family tree back to the Mayflower; of which she was very proud. She enjoyed being a homemaker and taking wonderful care of her family.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Harland and their children: Marty (Diane) Wood, Todd Wood, and Ellen (Mark) Lambrecht. Faye also leaves two beloved grandchildren: Shawn and Janell Wood, along with three step-grandchildren: Andrea, Alex, and Cassie Lambrecht. Faye leaves 4 great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Francois and Grace Magee, along with Goddaughter, Laura Francois and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves her grand puppy, Bogey. Faye is preceded in death by a son, Dean Wood, and a brother, Fred Francois.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 11 AM - 1 PM at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum Chapel. A service celebrating her life will follow at 1 PM with entombment to follow. Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
