John R. Schuster, of Greenleaf, passed away on August 4, 2018, at his home from an accident. He was born on February 6, 1941, to Harold & Verna Schuster in Suring, WI. He was a graduate of Suring High School and went to school to be a machinist. He married Sandra A. Belongia on October 13, 1962, together they had four children. They shared 55 years of marriage together.

John was a master scuba diver and loved the water. He was an outdoor person and took joy in being in the woods, all animals, birds and trees. He planted many and cut down many. John loved his family and friends dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; four children, John T. (Robie) Schuster of Greenleaf, Deborah (Robert) Goodine of Green Bay, Connie M. Tikalsky (and friend, Robert) of Hilbert and Julie A. (Robert) Popp of Manona; five grandchildren, Joe (Tracy) Tikalsky, Carissa Tikalsky, Cassie Tikalsky, Adam Tisler, Erin Tisler; along with one great-grandchild, Owen Tikalsky.

He is also survived by his siblings, Robert Schuster of Oregon, Mary Kistenmacker of Sheboygan, Dennis (Phyllis) Schuster of Dykesville, James (Julie) Schuster of Florida; father-in-law, Carl Johnson of Krakow; uncle, Rev. William Stengel of Crivitz; brother-in-law, Gene (Roz) Belongia of Oconto Falls; sister-in-law, Rene Schabow of Oconto Falls; and many dear nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A celebration of Life will be held at Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm on September 9, 2018.
