Geraldine "Gibby" Morin, 91, of Oconto, beloved wife of the late Antonio Morin, departed this life peacefully with family at her side on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at home.

Gibby was born on December 20, 1926 in Oconto, daughter of the late Fred and Sarah (Haines) Longsine. She worked until her retirement for Woolworth Department Store in Chicago. She married Antonio on October 20, 1945 and they spent over 49 years of marriage together until he preceded her in death in 1994. In her spare time she loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed going to the casino and playing BINGO. Her dog Skippy brought her great joy. Gibby loved people, helping whenever she could, and had a big heart.

She is survived by three children: Robert (Rose) Morin, Michael Morin, and Chris Morin. Gibby also leaves 11 beloved grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter. She leaves two sisters: Sally (Richard) Glawe and Charmaine Galban, sister-in-law, Theresa Morin, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Gibby is preceded in death by two sons: Antonio and Anthony Morin, two siblings: Wilbert Longsine and Marilyn Guzman.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28th from 4 - 7 PM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 716 Madison Street, Oconto. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 7 PM in the church. Interment will be private.

Gibby's family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the staff of Unity Hospice for the love and care given to her throughout her final journey.
