In Memory Of
Nancy A. VanderHeyden
1938 - 2018
She was born on June 20, 1938, to the late Lloyd & Alice Wishart.
Nancy's most admired passion was her love for dance and teaching her many students at Nancy Ann's School of Dance. She later worked for G&K, PMI, Kohl's and finally for Golden Age Concessions where she worked alongside with her husband, Skip. Together, with their family, they traveled around the area providing concessions for various events and festivals.
She was very compassionate. Her heart and home were always open to anyone or any of God's "critters". To Nancy, all were welcome. Nancy was very loving to her family. Her beautiful smile always lit up the room. She loved being with family, and sharing her love for animals with her children and grandchildren. Nancy enjoyed traveling and camping. She always had a love for horses, she enjoyed caring for them and riding most of her life.
Survivors include her husband, Skip VanderHeyden; children, Kim (Steve) Jansen, Randy (Jacque) Krause, Rodd (Amy) Krause, Richard Krause, Russell Krause; 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Hazel (Whitey) Liebergen; step-son, Rory (friend, Connie) VanderHeyden; step-daughters, Tammy & Kim.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Darold Wishart; father of her children, Richard "Dick" Krause.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Ave. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Curative Connection, Lakeland Care, Birch Creek Assisted Living, and Heartland Hospice. Our heartfelt gratitude to all of the "angels" who compassionately cared for Nancy and her family...You've touched our hearts!
