In Memory Of
Cecelia T. "Ceil" Patzke
1928 - 2018

Cecelia T. "Ceil" Patzke, age 89, a life-long resident of Green Bay, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018, surrounded by family. She was born June 12, 1928 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Martin and Charlotte (Lyman) Deprey, the 3rd of 12 siblings, and was a graduate of Green Bay East High.

Ceil married Robert "Bob" Patzke, January 22, 1951 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and celebrated 62 loving years of marriage before he passed away in 2013. Ceil was primarily a homemaker, but held part-time positions at Prange Way, Jandrain's Religious Store, Hansen's Dairy and Van Beek's. Prior to her marriage to Bob, she worked for Bell Telephone Company, which she spoke of fondly.

Ceil enjoyed trips to the casino, ceramics/crafting, cooking, baking and decorating. She was always the life of the party and was an enthusiastic dancer with her favorite partner, Bob. Her sense of humor, quick wit and sarcasm were unmatched and she could never complete telling a joke without laughing through the punchline. She was a faithful Packer fan and part-owner of "The Big Cheese" tailgate bus. Ceil was blessed with lifelong friendships through her clubs. First and foremost, Ceil was a loving wife and proud mother, G-ma and great-grandma.

Cecelia is survived by her children: Robert (Crystal) Patzke, Lori (Bruce) Dobry-Desotelle and Holly (Craig) Lawniczak; 8 grandchildren: Cole and Shay Patzke, Jeni (Alexa) and Leah Dobry and Tod and Shaina (Nick) Desotelle, Mathew (Maggie) and Jason (Caitlin) Lawniczak; 2 great-grandchildren, Vincent and Violet; 5 siblings: Connie (the late Royal) Letourneau, Jim (Mary) Deprey, Karen (Don) Collins, Wayne Deprey and Ron Deprey; 3 brothers-in-law and 6 sisters-in-law: Jeri Deprey, Mary Deprey, Jerry Deprey, Butch (Mille) Patzke, LaVerne DeCleene, Leona DeCleene and Rosemary Patzke; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; 7 siblings: Larry (Kathy) Deprey, Mel Deprey, Donald Deprey, Tom Deprey, Dan Deprey, Mary Ann (Dale) Prochaska and Jean (Moe) Carter; Bob's parents, Rudolph and Josephine Patzke; special friends, June and Rab Rebitski; other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Monday, April 30, 2018 from 9 to 11:30 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11:30AM with Dcn. Tom Mahoney officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum.

Ceil's family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff of Woodside Lutheran Home, especially the Mulberry unit: Cha, Deb, Lisa, Becky, Angela and Kimi, in addition to the wonderful CNA staff, for their incredible support and loving care of their mother.
