1952 - 2018

Thomas Albert Shaw (Tom), 65, (Green Bay) passed away January 30th after fighting hard for 20 days from Interstitial Lung Disease which went unknown until the very last days of his life.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on February 9, 1952 to Albert G. (Shaw) and Phoebe (Stevenson) Shaw, both deceased. Tom moved to Shawano, Wisconsin, joined the Coast Guard, later was a general laborer (mostly in shipping and receiving) until he retired.

His hobbies were cooking, shopping, cribbage, and most of all feeding and helping people! He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and (playing with his cats).

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandsons Zachary, Piérre, and Connor.

Tom is survived by his wife, Jewlie Shaw; son, Robert Lewis Shaw (Jamie), daughters: Mikhayla Jean Shaw (fiance, Luke Gonia), Marissa Lynn Shaw (fiance, Marty), and Brandon; grandchildren: Deony, Derek, Jenny, Kitana, Geoffrey, and Angel; great-grandchildren: Vanessa, Lestat, and Aniyah, brother-in-law, Dale Vannieuwenhoven (Mary); sisters-in-law, Sandra Ellison and Susan Joncas (Mike); nephews: Greg Ellison, Steven Ellison, and Joshua Joncas; nieces, Kassie Vannieuwenhoven and Krysa Vannieuwenhoven, and ex-wives, Karla, and Ellen Boivin.

He is deeply and sadly missed by family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Friday, February 9, 2018, at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Ave. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm.

The family would like to thank the security team at St. Vincent's Hospital, Chaplain Pam, Pastor Marin, and Dr. Bruce Fenster for all of his care and compassion.
