Lester was born on January 22, 1952 in Milwaukee, WI son of the late Lester and Patricia (Metoxen) Harms. In his younger years he had many adventures on his Harley including many cross country trips. Lester retired after many wonderful adventures owning and operating his own semi, with many stories to be told. He would do anything for his family and loved them very much. He also loved his dog, Odie aka Monkey Boy. In his spare time he enjoyed surfing the web, sci-fi movies, and customizing his vehicles. He loved to star gaze looking at the night sky, imagining what his journey exploring the universe would someday be.
He is survived by his son, Les (Pamela) Harms III, he is also survived by his sisters: Joan Wayer, Sandra (Gene) Wondra, and Patty (Myron Vieau) Harms. Lester also leaves three grandchildren: Justin R. Harms, Alayna P. Harms, and David S. Harms along with nieces, Ursula (Erik)Alexander, Shelly Harms, Loucinda Conway, Kim Appel, and Dawn (David) Maurer and nephews: Todd Wayer, Draven Alexander, Lestat Alexander, and Matt (Wendy) Pursley. Lester also leaves an ex-wife, June Harms along with many other extended family and friends. He is preceded in death, a son Steven Harms, a sister, Diana (Dana) Metoxen, and his dog "Monkey Boy".
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 6th from 5 PM - 7 PM at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A sharing of memories will end visitation at 7 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
Lester wished to express his heartfelt gratitude to his favorite and most special person in his last days; Myron.
