She was born on July 5, 1927, in Kewaunee, to the late John & Lenora (Derfler) Burmeister.
Harverda married Ernest Reimer on October 28, 1950. He preceded her in death on January 20, 2002.
She worked at Wisconsin Public Service and later retired from Wisconsin Bell.
She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and most recently Amazing Grace Lutheran Church.
Harverda enjoyed gardening, playing cards, shopping, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Wayne (Alana) Reimer, Mark (Angie) Reimer and Cindy (Tim) Zey; grandchildren, Eric (Laura), Shannon (Ryan), Brook (Crispin), Justin, Kris, Jake (Alyssa), Jon (Alisha), Natalie, Hannah and Paige (Billy); great-grandchildren, Ethan, Logan, Dylan, Ashtyn, Landyn, Anistyn, Mason, Kennedy, Raevyn, Tenley and Harper; daughter-in-law, Jill Reimer.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; son, Everett "Butch" Reimer; siblings, Harvey, Harry, Harriet, Harold, Harlene, Haroldine, Harlan, Harletta, Harvard and Harlsworth; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until time of Memorial Service at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Interment will be at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Green Bay Health Services (Golden Living) for the care they gave to Harverda.
