Orlyn LeRoy Wik, age 90, of Green Bay, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 21, 1927 in Eau Claire, WI, son of the late Anton and Mabel (Johnson) Wik.

Orlyn served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He worked as a machinist with AO Smith, Milwaukee and later as a bus driver with Laidlaw Transportation, Green Bay.

Orlyn married Ruth Taylor, September 30, 1995 in Green Bay and together they shared 22 loving years of marriage.

Orlyn was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He was a proud grandpa and loved to spend time with his grandchildren at his garden.

Orlyn is survived by his wife, Ruth; step-daughter, Tamara Taylor Rembold and her children: Nicole Conrad, Brock Rembold and David Conrad and their children: Brianna, Christina and Neveah; step-daughter, Sandra (Richard) Sims and her children: Brandon Londo, Dimitria Sims and Dominique Sims and their children, Martez and Imani; granddaughter, Brittany McCrackin and 2 sisters, Doloris (Don) McCrackin and June (the late Pete) Lovelien.

He was preceded in death by 2 children, David and Terri; 2 former wives, Jacqueline Bennett and Ferne Hagedorn; 3 brothers: Fritz, Bob and Norm and 2 sisters, Dorothy and Ellen.

Visitation will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church (120 S. Henry St., Green Bay), Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 AM. A funeral service will follow at 10:30 AM with full military honors. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions has been entrusted with arrangements.
