Emily Hudson, 106 , of De Pere, died peacefully on Sunday February 8th, 2015.

Emily was born on January 26th,1909, in Green Bay to the late George and Elizabeth (Newman) Schroeder. She graduated from East High in Green Bay in 1927, and worked for the Northern Paper Mill from 1927-1965. She was the manager of the billing department and also supervised the staff of 20-30 members. She was the highest paid woman in the company when she retired. Emily was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church and was an avid bridge player.

She was well known as a Packer fan and her knowledge of football.

Emily is survived by a niece, Sue Quinette of Sierra Vista, Arizona and several other nieces and nephews, her close friend Mary Robillard and others who worked with Emily at Northern Paper.

Emily is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Lloyd Schroeder.

Friends may call from 11:00am until 12:00pm on Friday, February 13, 2015, at Newcomer Funeral Home at 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. Services will follow at noon with Pastor Julie Wrubbel- Lange officiating. Emily will be laid to rest at Nicolet Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum.
