George “Ray” Wallace, 84, of Green Bay, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at a local hospital.

He was born on August 17, 1930 to the late Fred & Flora Wallace.

Ray worked for Motiff Plastics, Kazmaier Waste Disposal and Brown Co. Ice Center. Doris Charlier was his loving companion for over 30 years until her passing on March 15, 1996.

Ray loved to visit with family and friends, fish, play cards, and just sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee and visit with whomever walked by. Ray also enjoyed the many car rides with his special companion, Kozzy, and was a devoted Packers fan.

Ray is survived by his sister, Gladys Jacquart, brother-in-law Pete Testen, sister-in-law, Alma Wallace, many special nieces and nephews, special loving friend Amy Skenandore, and Doris’s family, Bonnie, Carol, Edwin, Barb, Pat & Bob.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Norman, Clifford, and Joseph, and sisters Violet (Burt) Varga, Ann Testen, Loretta Christensen, Leona (Frank) Kinjerski and Catherine Ramona Wallace, brothers-in-law John (Jeanne) Kinjerski and Elmer Jacquart, numerous nieces and nephews and Doris’s sons Billy and Jerry.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 3 to 6 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A funeral service at 6 PM will conclude the evening. Final rest will be next to Doris at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Stiles, WI.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
