Skyler M. Rogers

At the age of 14 and with her family by her side, went on to start her new adventures in Heaven on Friday, October 24th, 2014.

Skyler was born on September 30, 2000, a daughter of Nikki (DeNamur) and Tim Rogers. She attended Luxemburg-Casco School District and more recently attended Red Smith School in Green Bay. Skyler loved spending time with her family, especially her sister Kayden, and loved music. She was funny and artistic, and will be sadly missed.

Skyler leaves behind her mother and father, her sister Kayden, her paternal grandparents J.R. (Dorothy) Rogers, her maternal grandparents Roy (Cheryl) DeNamur, her aunts and uncles Chris (Bobbi Vandervest) DeNamur, Beth A. Vanden Bush, Michelle (Larry) Rohr, Todd (Jenny) Rogers and “aunt” Tina (Michael) Howard and their son Branden Howard. She also leaves behind her special friend Izzy Jeanquart and her parents, many cousins, other relatives and friends. The family sends special thanks to Justin Kelley for his acts of compassion as well as to the medical staff at Aurora ICU.

Friends and relatives may call on the family on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 3 to 7 PM at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 340 South Monroe Avenue, in Green Bay. A celebration of Skyler’s life will be held at 7 PM. Final rest will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider supporting the National Bully Prevention Center at www.pacer.org/bullying. If desired, memorials are also appreciated to the family to be used in Skyler’s memory.
