Ruth M. Reimers, age 90, of Green Bay, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 after a brief illness. She was born March 27, 1926 in Stephenson, MI, daughter of the late Arthur and Delma (Hood) Gardner and was a graduate of Stephenson High School.
Ruth earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and worked as a nurse for Victory Memorial Hospital, Waukegan, IL. Ruth married Charles Reimer in 1967 and together they shared 47 loving years of marriage before Chuck passed away in January of 2016.
Ruth was a model for Marshall Fields. Ruth and Chuck loved to travel and enjoyed several cruises after retirement. Some of the places they visited were Monaco, Las Vegas and Ireland, where Ruth kissed the Blarney Stone. Her sense of humor and her kind and caring nature will be dearly missed.
Ruth is survived by her son, Arthur Dobrich; special cousin, Joe Sutton and niece, Bernice Shakylee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Ruth will be interred in Stephenson Township Cemetery.
