In Memory Of
Jane A. Mornard
In Memory Of
Jane A. Mornard
Jane married Joseph P. Mornard on August 2, 1945, in Green Bay. Months later, when the war was over, Jane and Joe settled in Green Bay. Later Jane returned to her nursing career working at St. Vincent Hospital for approximately 7 years. The next several years she was employed in a local doctor's office and then worked for the American Red Cross. Jane finished her nursing career as an industrial nurse at what is now the Day Street plant of Georgia Pacific.
Jane had a clever sense of humor and enjoyed an active life. She loved to travel with her husband, golfing, getting together with her Cousins Club, dance clubs, getting together with the girls at coffee klatches, playing cards, and garage sale-ing. Jane enjoyed hearing a good story as much as she enjoyed telling one. She was happiest when spending time with her family.
Jane is survived by her two children, Paul (Sue) Mornard of Howard, & Mary Mornard of DePere; 3 grandchildren, Chris Heil, Jini (Mark Shultz) Mornard, and Cherie (Matthew) Bayer; 6 great-grandchildren; and her brother Gerald Kosnar of DePere. She is further survived by 6 nieces and 1 nephew.
Preceding her in death was Joe, her husband of 52 years, sister-in-law Nancy Kosnar; brother-in-law & sister-in-law Elmer & Margaret Mornard.
Friends and relatives may call at OUR LADY OF LOURDES PARISH FAMILY (1307 Lourdes Ave., DePere), Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 9 to 11 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM with Fr. Tim Shillcox, O. Praem officiating. Entombment will be in the Allouez Catholic Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum.
