Earl was a hard working dairy farmer and also held jobs as a logger, welder and custom butcher. He married Gladys Arnett, March 19, 1988 in Pound, WI and they spent 27 loving years of marriage together. He had a great appreciation for the outdoors and loved animals as well. He loved to chat and made friends wherever he went. His family and his faith shaped his decisions in life.
Earl is survived by his wife, Gladys; daughters: Kay (Daniel) Hutchens of Eastern Shore, VA, Darlene (Tim) Isom of Northfield, MN, Belinda (Mike) Shostak of Manawa, WI and Denise Guseck of North Chicago, IL; grandchildren: Christopher and Sondra Isom, Jordan and Mackenzie Shostak; sisters: Esther Wilson, Clara Nimmerguth and Judy (Burdus) Galbraith; brothers: Edwin, Elsward and Elgin (Mary) Guseck; special “adopted” grandson, Isaiah Lawrence and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edith Sandra (Marshall) Guseck; sisters, Helen Guseck (infant) and Angeline Erickson; brothers, Elmer and Ervin Guseck.
Friends and relatives may call at GILLETT BAPTIST CHURCH, (10780 Gillett Town Hall Rd., Gillett, WI) on SATURDAY, August 15, 2015 from 10 AM to 12 NOON. A funeral service will follow at 12 NOON. Interment will be in First Baptist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to Earl’s family are appreciated.
