Myron was a graduate of Monona Grove High School and later earned a Bachelor’s Degree from UW-Madison. He was employed as a buyer for H. C. Prange for 30 years and was later self-employed as a manufacturer’s rep for over 20 years. Myron was a first generation American, proud lifetime member of Sons of Norway and a member of Grønnvik Lodge. Myron was a great “Papa” and his family was his pride and joy. He is well-known for his “perfect” cup of coffee.
Myron is survived by his wife, Karen; children: Mark (Tina) Vedvik of Pulaski, WI, Trina (Jeffrey) Robshaw of Burlington, WI and Kevin (Nicole) Vedvik of Sun Prairie, WI; grandchildren: Kenda and Kali Vedvik, Jonathan and Lilianna Robshaw and Hailey and Sophia Vedvik; sister-in-law, Julie Vedvik; niece, Kristianna Vedvik and nephew, Erik (Taara) Vedvik and their families and other relatives in America and in Norway.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry Vedvik; Karen’s parents, Clarence and Evelyn Hauser and brother-in-law, John Hauser.
Memorial visitation will be Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 1 to 3 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church (330 S. Broadway St., Green Bay). Memorial service will follow at 3 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the family are appreciated. The family will be donating to several charities close to Myron’s heart.
