John J. “Jack” Tease, age 82, of Green Bay, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, June 23, 2015. He was born December 11, 1932 in Green Bay.

John married JoAnn Boggs, August 25, 1956 and they enjoyed 49 loving years of marriage together before JoAnn passed away in 2006. He worked for Olson Trailer and Body as a “Jack of all trades” for over 30 years. Jack was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and going up north to his cabin in Hollister, WI. His favorite past times included playing cards, especially with Jerry Thiry and the rest of the group and watching the Packers.

John is survived by his sons, Harry (Kathy) and Robert (Connie) Tease; grandchildren: Jennifer Damp, Jonathan Tease, Joshua Tease, Heather (Allan) Schimberg, Jacob Tease and Jason (Trina) Tease; great-grandchildren: Thomas Wilson, Anthony Damp and Madelynn Schimberg and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Boggs.

He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.

Friends and relatives may call at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay) on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 4 to 6:45 PM. A prayer service will follow at 7 PM. Visitation will continue, Saturday, June 27, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (413 St. John St., Green Bay) from 10 to 11 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jerry Thiry for being a great and caring friend to John and to County Rescue for their quick response when John was in need.
