Bill was born on February 19, 1942 in Green Bay, son of the late Cyril Boyea and Audrie (Le Mere) Binder. As a young man he began working with his father in their business Boyea Discount Tire Center in Green Bay. He owned and operated various auto businesses all of his life. He loved antiques and owned an antique store, he had a knack for picking out just the right ones. Bill's greatest passion was boating on the Bay. He and Carol are longtime active members of the Green Bay Boating Club and later the Green Bay Yachting Club. Bill loved his Boston Whaler "dingy" which he named Sour-Puss. His boat "Buoys V" was his treasure. He loved his daily breakfast with the guys discussing the worlds issues. Maggie his beloved dog was his pride and joy. He will be remembered most as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all who loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Carol and their children: Craig (Tammy), Rich, and Scott Boyea all of Green Bay. Bill also leaves his beloved grandchildren: Michael (Samantha), Zach (Emily), Brooke (Michael), and Brittany (Ryan), along with 5 great grandchildren. Bill also has two sister-in-laws: Peggy Boyea and Priscilla (Glenn) Bellin. He is further survived by his best friend Keith Budsiz. He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Bill is preceded in death by one brother, Bob "Gene" Boyea and a half sister, Eileen Hayden.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 4 - 7 PM at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Avenue. A service celebrating his life will follow at 7 PM.
