Robert J. "Bob" Friederichs, age 66, of Green Bay, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018. He was born November 21, 1951 in Green Bay, son of the late Anthony "Tony" Friederichs and Kathleen "Katie" (Cole) Friederichs. Bob was the 4th of 9 children born to Tony and Katie. Robert was born with Cerebral Palsy.

Bob loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time outside. He was a very active and adventurous soul and kept the staff at the group homes on their toes.

Robert is survived by his mother, Kathleen "Katie" Friederichs; 7 siblings: Judy (Gordon Clark) Friederichs, Paul (Anne-Marie Giacalone) Friederichs, Kathy (Jerry Hollister) Friederichs, David (David Manderson) Friederichs, Kurt Friederichs, Tim (Coleen Keith) Friederichs and Chad Friederichs. He is further survived by numerous nieces, a nephew, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony "Tony" Friederichs and a brother, Peter Friederichs.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. A funeral service will follow at 1:30 PM with Fr. Jim Feely officiating. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to Love Life Ministry or St. John the Evangelist Homeless Shelter in Bob's name are appreciated.

Bob's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Bob's second family, the staff and residents at Homes for Independent Living-Clayton Place, for their friendship, care and support.
