1933 - 2018

Marilyn Schwartz, 84, of Bellevue, beloved wife of 65 years to Kenneth Schwartz, departed this life on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at home with her husband at her side.

Marilyn was born on April 25, 1933 in Green Bay daughter of the late Albert and Mae (Panure) Netols. She was a graduate of Green Bay East High School class of 1951. In her spare time she enjoyed crafting, crocheting, playing BINGO, celebrating the holidays (especially Christmas) and was an avid Packers fan. She and Ken especially enjoyed spending winters in Texas where she helped in tutoring numerous children. Marilyn also volunteered her time quilting blankets for charity. She will always be remembered by those who knew her as a strong woman and survivor of breast cancer 42 years ago. Marilyn's greatest joy was her family and spending time with them.

Marilyn is survived by her husband Ken and their six children: Bob (Diane) Schwartz, Rick (Cindy) Schwartz, Debbie (Rob) Ropson, Mary (John) Opsahl, Laurie Schwartz, and Mike (Barb) Schwartz. She also leaves two sisters: Carol Nooyen and JoAnn (Dale) Skarzynski. Marilyn leaves 15 grandchildren: Carrie Ann (Shay), Sarah (Monty), Eric (Jenny), Shelly (Jeremy), Jason (Robyn), Adam (Laura), Kimberly, Stephanie, Katie, Justin, Danae, Jeremiah, Elizabeth, Nicholas, and Benjamin along with 18 great grandchildren, and many extended family. Marilyn is preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, William, and Ken Netols, a grandson, Neil Schwartz, great granddaughter, Gabrielle Schwartz, brother-in-law Eugene Nooyen and sister-in-law Ione Netols.
