He was born on August 13, 1932, in Egg Harbor, WI, Merten & Emma Anderson.
Larry was a member of the Local 400 and worked as a journeyman pipe & steam fitter for most of his career.
He married his love and sweet understanding, Carolyn on May 31, 1974. Their first daughter Tara was born in 1975, followed by their second daughter Tanya in 1978.
Larry retired at the age of 62. After retirement, he volunteered at local nursing homes performing for "his captive audience". Together with his wife Carolyn, they enjoyed traveling to Gulf Shores, AL. He loved fishing, camping, golfing and boating. His true passion was playing guitar and singing country music. He recorded several records in Nashville, TN.
Larry had a very strong faith in his Lord. He was a member of Central Church for over 40 years. He was on multiple teams during mission trips to Guatemala & Israel.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; two daughters, Tara (Joe) Henjum; her three children Olivia, Emma and Isaac, Tanya Peters; her two children Nikolas and Ian; Larry's other children are Larry Dale, Randy and Mark Anderson, Sandy and Linda; siblings, George Anderson, Louie Anderson, Barbara Brauer and Donna (Curt) Wassen.
He is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Neal Henjum; siblings, Marie, Viola, Elmer, Selma and Gilbert
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Central Church, 831 Schoen Street, Green Bay. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday at the church with Pastor Aaron Schaut officiating. Burial will be at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
