Michael J. Belanger Sr., 66, of Green Bay, departed this life on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Bellin Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Mike was born on January 24, 1952 in Marinette, WI, son of the late Louis and Irene (Bromund) Belanger. He was honorably discharged after serving in the U.S. Air Force. He received his degree from UWGB. He retired from ROMO. as a Purchaser. Mike loved music; especially playing guitar. He also enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Mike had a great sense of humor and was loved by all who met him.

Mike is survived by his three children: Michael "Jr." (Linda) Belanger, Amy (Johnny) Vang, and Ginnie (Karl) Belanger. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren: Nathan Conard, Miles and Eli Vang, Kimidy, Ericka, and Lynnelle Nguyen along with great granddaughters, Amelia and Mikayla. Mike also leaves, nephews, nieces, extended family and his many friends from The Landing in De Pere. He is preceded in death by his three brothers: Richard, James, and Robert Belanger and the mother of his children, Sharon Belanger.

Special thank you to the ICU and ER departments at Bellin Hospital for their outstanding care.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 10th from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Avenue. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Lori Swenson of Ascension Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be private.
