1934 - 2018

Jean F. Angus, age 83, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Care Partners Assisted Living in Oconto, WI. Jean was born December 19, 1934, in Oconto Falls, to Joseph & Esther (Everard) Lotter. She was a 1953 graduate of Oconto Falls High School. She eloped with Bill Angus on March 28, 1954 and married by the Justice of the Peace in Oconto. Three years later they were married in Crivitz at St. Mary Catholic Church. Jean was a devoted wife and a wonderful dedicated mother of five children. The only thing she would do for herself was sewing, her only get away. She worked hard taking care of the home, including everything inside and out. Jean could do it all. She worked several jobs through the years, the most meaningful to her were the ones helping people; hospital and nursing home work. Jean's personality was magnetic, anyone she spent time with fell in love with her. Her voice, compassionate personality, beautiful contagious smile, her keen wit and sense of humor were absolutely amazing.

She is survived by her husband, William "Bill"; four children, Bill Angus, Mike Angus, Lori (Tim) Willett and Jim (Sherry Lynn) Angus; two sisters, Marian (Nubs) Marks and Joanne (Roger) Ruplinger; a brother; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jean was preceded in death by both her parents, Joseph & Esther Lotter; grandchild, James Angus Jr., and recently by her eldest son, Richard Angus.

Jeans family bestows special thanks to the staff at Care Partners in Oconto, Unity Hospice for their care and service, and Earl Uhl (Oconto) for joining and officiating prayer with Jean's family.
