Barbara Ann Peterson, age 66, of Green Bay, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017 at her home. She was born March 19, 1951 in Iron Mountain, MI, daughter of the late Ralph and Audrey (Chilcott) Peterson.

Barbara enjoyed reading mystery novels and poetry. She also loved listening to opera music, going on road trips, watching movies and thrift shopping. Barbara was a beloved sister and aunt. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

Barbara is survived by her 3 siblings: Gerald (Carol) Peterson, Cynthia DeJardin and David (Crystal) Peterson; nieces and nephews: Jennifer (Ryan) Motquin, Ryan (Lori) Peterson, Paul DeJardin, Traci (Clay) Janikowski, Adam (Kadi) DeJardin, Samantha (Nathaniel) Bohlman, Sara Peterson and Kelli Peterson and great-nieces and nephews, Isaac and Emmett Peterson, Trinity and Landon DeJardin, Dane and Lauren Janikowski and Oliver Bohlman.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 4 to 6 PM. A funeral service will follow at 6 PM. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the family are appreciated.
