Carolyn M. Tesar, 75, of Green Bay and formerly of Queens, NY, departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at her home with her daughter Lorraine at her side.

Carolyn was born on March 23, 1942 in Queens, NY, daughter of the late Frederick and Evelyn (Weimar) Machmiller. She graduated from Bryant High School in 1959 and obtained her Bachelors Degree from Queens College in 1976. She spent her career as a Stock Broker at Merrill Lynch. Upon retirement, she moved to Green Bay where she was active in the Learning in Retirement program through UWGB.

She is survived by her daughters: Arlene Tesar and Lorraine (Bob) Moody. She also leaves two sisters: Susan (Paul) Parfrey and Debbie (Phil) McLaughlin; 3 beloved grandchildren: Attilio Cella, Joseph and Virginia Presinal; special friend, Cindy Derenne, and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 1 - 3 PM followed by a sharing of memories at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions in Green Bay. Interment will be in Flushing Cemetery in New York.

Carolyn's family wishes to express their deep gratitude to her caregivers from Home Instead, and the staff at Unity Hospice.
