Sandra A. Baenen, age 77, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, November 5, 2017. She was born June 11, 1940 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Francis "Pete" and Lucille (Jilot) Baenen.

Sandra attended Holy Cross Grade School and Preble High School. She also attended art school at Purdue University.

Sandra was a free spirit and always did things her way. She adored animals and was always providing a warm home to strays. Sandra was very artistic and creative.

Sandra is survived by a brother, Donald (Joan) Baenen; 5 sisters: Audrey Baenen, Carol (James) Gerczak, Shirley Brantmeier, Jeanne Fleming and Pat (Mark) Dalke and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ken Baenen.

Visitation will be held at SHRINE OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD MAUSOLEUM (2770 Bay Settlement Rd., Green Bay), Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 9 to 11AM. A funeral service will follow at 11AM. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions has been entrusted with arrangements.
