Loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother Mrs. Anthony (Virginia "Mae" Cravillion) Pigeon passed away on October 16, 2017, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born May 31, 1933 to Elmer A. & Julia C. (Lardinois) Cravillion in the Town of Champion.

Mae married Tony Pigeon, August 9, 1952 at St. Philip the Apostle Parish, Green Bay and together they shared 64 loving years of marriage before he passed away, September 4, 2016.

Mae worked at Bay Toweling, Model Dry Cleaners and Marketing Association. She enjoyed traveling, bus trips, playing bingo and slots at the casino, playing cards with family and grandkids, vacationing at the cottage on the bay with family, flower and vegetable gardening and seeing shows at The Fireside Theater. Mae and Tony met at the dance hall and always loved dancing together.

Mae's most important job was being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She took great pride in her holiday celebrations. Her family fondly remembers all of her decorations, cooking and baking to make each holiday a special occasion for family and friends, especially Christmas and Easter.

Mae is survived by her 3 children: Sue Pigeon, Sharon (Greg Bucher) Pigeon and Tim (fiancee, Linda Hronek) Pigeon; 3 special grandchildren: Preston, Dallas (Marquise) and Courtney (Nick); 2 sisters, June Lindsley and Marie Vanden Avond, both of Green Bay. Mae is further survived by sisters and brothers-in-law: Don (Agatha) Pigeon of Champion, Pauline Pigeon of Brussels, Jlaine Vincent Zellner of Luxemburg and Bernard and Pat Pigeon of New Franken; former daughter-in-law, Cindy Pigeon; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony; parents, Elmer and Julia Cravillion; mother and father-in-law, William and Alice Pigeon and 5 brothers-in-law: Jerry Lindsley, Leroy Vanden Avond, Marvin Pigeon, Lloyd Vincent and Cletus Zellner.

Visitation will be held at NEWCOMER CREMATIONS, FUNERALS & RECEPTIONS (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 5 to 8 PM. A prayer service will be held at 7 PM. Visitation will continue at ST. BERNARD PARISH (2040 Hillside Lane, Green Bay), Monday, October 23, 2017 from 9:30 to 11 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM with Fr. Robert Rhyner, celebrant. Entombment will be in Nicolet Memorial Gardens.

Mae's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Vincent Hospital, Woodside Lutheran Home and Unity Hospice Jack and Engrid Meng Residence as well as Green Bay and Ashwaubenon Fire & Rescue for all of their assistance, care and support. A special thank you to Fr. Mark VanderSteeg, Sister Helen and Sister Caroline of St. Philip and St. Bernard Parishes for their visits, support and prayers.
