Beverly J. Mallien, age 91, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.

She was born on December 31, 1925, in Green Bay to the late Gordon & Ruth (Schmidt) La Plante.

Beverly graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1945.

She married George J. Mallien on September 30, 1950 at St. Matthew Parish. Together they shared 66 years of marriage.

Bev was a longtime member of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, George; sons, Keith Mallien & Brian Mallien.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gordon La Plante Jr.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 4:30 pm on Sunday, September 17, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, a prayer service will conclude the visitation at 4:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Monday, September 18, 2017, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 413 St. John Street, Green Bay.
