In Memory Of
Jennifer Rasmussen
1957 - 2017
Jenny was born on December 24, 1957 in Green Bay, WI, to Grace Skaletski and the late Dalen Skaletski. She was a graduate of Oconto Falls High School and later NWTC for Mechanical Design. She was currently working as a Pipe Designer at Fusion Integrated Solutions. Jenny's devotion to her faith in the Traditional Roman Catholic Rite and family supported her throughout her life.
Her greatest joy and achievement was being a mother of 7 children and instilled in them; patience, discipline, and humility. She often took them on long family trips to see the natural beauty of waterfalls and the countryside of Wisconsin. Her hobbies were puzzles, remodeling, pond creations, gardening, researching, teaching catechism and learning about Jesus Christ and the Church He established. Jenny's words "It may look as if I lost but in the grand scale of reality I won the battle" affirmed to us what a Warrior of God and inspiration she had become.
She is survived by her children: Helen (Matt) Wickman, Theresa (Jeff) Holl, Catherine (Dean) Urbanek, Sarah (Mike) Ignarski, Charles Rasmussen, Joseph (Aimee) Rasmussen, and Christina (Kris) Fangman. Grandchildren: Grace and Kaitlyn Wickman, Braden, Annalyse, and Beckett Holl, Juniper and Korban Rasmussen, Levi and Kilian Fangman. Her mother Grace Skaletski. Jenny leaves her siblings: Christine Pleuss, Robert Skaletski, Mark (Gayle) Skaletski, Lonie Walker, Julie (Charles) Schlesinger, Jill Tellez, Bennett (Vicky) Skaletski and Bert (Jarmila) Skaletski. She is preceded in death by her father, Dalen Skaletski, her nephew, Louis Rowe, and her cousin, Robert Jauquet.
Visitation will be held from 4-7:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay WI, on Thursday, August 31, 2017. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM in the funeral home chapel. A Requiem High Mass will be offered on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 9:30 AM at St. Patrick Oratory (Institute of Christ the King), 211 N. Maple Avenue, Green Bay WI. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, 5323 St. Patrick Road, Styles, WI.
