1939 - 2017

Eugene J. Riemer, age 78, of Pound, WI, entered into eternal life on August 13, 2017. Eugene was born on May 4, 1939 to the late Elmer and Anna (Pribyl) Riemer. He married Emogene Cederstrom on October 8, 1966.

Eugene is survived by his wife, Emogene; brothers: Robert (Lorraine), Thomas (Cheri) and Carl (Sally); sisters: Nancy (Jack) Wunderlich, Caroline Green, Barbara Riemer and Mary Jane (Gary) Willcox; sister-in-law, Sue Casarotto; brother-in-law, Arman Hackelberg and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Harold and Mabel Cederstrom and sisters and brothers-in-law, Teola and Bob Kaye, Glenda Hackelberg, Harold Cederstrom and John Green.

Private services will be held by Eugene's family at a later date. Newcomer Funeral Home, Green Bay has been entrusted with arrangements.

Gene's family would like to extend a special thank you to the ER staff, Rescue Squad and Atrium Nursing Home, Oconto Falls as well as the staff at Aurora BayCare Hospital, Green Bay for their care of Gene and his family.

Rest in peace, Gene. Gone are the days we shared. In our hearts, you will always be there.
