Linda Ann Gayhart, age 64, of Tipler, Wisconsin, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls, MI.

She was born October 23, 1952, in Superior, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Beverly (Shannon) Spencer. Linda attended Florence High School & received her Licensed Practical Nursing degree from NWTC in 1990.

She was employed at Bornemann’s Nursing Home in Green Bay, and Maple Lane Nursing Home in Shawano, Wisconsin.

Linda is survived by her husband John; sons, Michael Gayhart, Tipler, Wisconsin, Dan Gayhart, Green Bay, Wisconsin, Jamie (Peggy) Spencer, Green Bay, Wisconsin; brother, Patrick Spencer, San Antonio, Texas; granddaughter, Brittany Spencer, Green Bay, Wisconsin; aunt, Eileen Smith, Tipler, Wisconsin; niece, Heather Spencer, Beaver Dam, Wisconsin; as well as extended family and many friends.

Linda loved dogs, enjoyed watching westerns and crime dramas on tv, watching birds, macramé, latch hook, rummage sales & thrift shopping, celebrating Halloween & collecting Wizard of Oz memorabilia. Linda will forever be remembered for her kindness and generosity not only to family & friends, but to the many many people she cared for over the years as a nurse.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, J.J. Spencer.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until time of memorial service at 6:00 pm on July 26, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. In lieu of flowers, donations for a memorial fund may be sent to The Gayhart Family.
