Michael "Big Poppa" Pina, 40, of Green Bay, departed this life unexpectedly on Friday, May 19, 2017 at his home.

Michael was born March 4, 1977 in Joliet, IL son of Elaine (Knippenberg) Ramirez. In his spare time he enjoyed working on cars. He loved his children and were the focus of his life. He enjoyed his family.

He is survived by his mother Elaine (Luis) Ramirez, his longtime partner, Amanda Tucker, and his four children: Yvette, Yesenia, Michael, and Nico Pina. He also leaves his siblings: Abel Pina Knippenberg, Laura Pina, Manuel Jacobo, and Donna Jacobo. Michael also leaves his nieces and nephews: Abel Magic Pina, Angela Mariah Pina, Alyssa Mariah Pina, Abel Michael Pina, Selina Pina, Michael Pina, Angelina Pina, Alliana, and Elaine "Lanie D", along with other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandma, Donna Cavanaugh.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 3 - 6 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. Interment will be private.
