Sharon "Sherry" (Swigert) Bosar, 74, of Green Bay, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital after a short illness. Sherry was born on August 14, 1942 in Green Bay to the late Kenneth and Arleen (Becker) Swigert. She was united in marriage on June 29, 1979 to Lawrence "Larry" Bosar at St. Phillip Catholic Church, Green Bay. Sherry proudly served as the secretary for 10 different police chiefs over a 52 year career with the Green Bay Police Department.

In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, boating, book club, shopping and spending time at her house in Sturgeon Bay.

Sherry is survived by her Husband of 38 years, Larry, Brother, Richard (Joan) Swigert, Sister, Sandra (Terry) VanPay, Step-Son, Bradley (Lisa) Bosar, Grandson, Logan Bosar and Granddaughter, Abigail Bosar. She is further survived by very special nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, family and friends.

Sherry is preceded in death by her Sister, Vicki Swigert.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 6:45 pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Green Bay Chapel, 340 South Monroe Avenue, Green Bay, Wisconsin 54301. A Vigil will follow at 7 PM with Rev. Mr. Tom Mahoney, officiant. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 , 12:00 pm, at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, 140 South Monroe Ave, Green Bay, WI with Rev. Richard Getchel, celebrant. Friends may call 1 hour prior to mass. Sherry will be laid to rest at Allouez Catholic Cemetery in a private family service.
