John E. Westerman, age 46, of Green Bay, joined his mother and father in heaven, Tuesday, May 2, 2017. He passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack. He was born October 31, 1970 in Green Bay, son of the late Robert Westerman and Roberta (Brien) Augustine.

John was a graduate of Green Bay Southwest High School and was employed by Aspiro. He enjoyed watching wildlife, bowling and spending time with his friends at Aspiro and The Oaks, solving word-search puzzles, listening to music and hiking with his step-dad, Gary.

John is survived by his grandfather, Robert Brien; step-dad, Gary (Cathy) Augustine; a half sister; 3 half step-brothers; uncle, Ed Brien; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and his best friends, Peter and Clarence.

He was preceded in death by his mother; his father; a grandmother, Jean Brien and an aunt, Gayle Brien.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 4:45 PM. A funeral service will follow at 5:00 PM.

Memorial donations in John's name will be donated by his family to charities that were special to John.

John's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and residents at The Oaks, especially Laura, for their support and friendship.
